This midcentury desk was designed and manufactured by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun in Denmark in the 1960s. The design is known as Model 75 and is a good example of high quality materials and manufacturing. This desk has a beautiful design with the impression of a floating top with three drawers on each side. In the back there is a box and two open shelves.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Gunni Omann (1930- 2009) was the designer of the most renowned furniture from Omann Jun’s Moebelfabrik. Attention to detail, craftsmanship and quality were the hallmarks of his design. In 1954, after graduating as furniture designer and cabinet maker, eldest son Gunni Omann joined his father in the family business and went on to design many of the brand’s most successful designs.
