We have used Pergamon for the stone cladding; a new kind of refractory concrete. Pergamon can store a lot of heat and does this for an especially long time. Within an hour, the cladding reaches temperature and remains so for up to 8 hours after you have added the last log.
The idea for the construction of the Disk is derived from the Lobbe; extremely solid and tested too. A solid steel door, thick steel mantel and a fire chamber of refractory concrete. Built to withstand a great deal of fire.
